Srinagar, Nov 16: Kashmir-based medico cum noted columnist, Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo virtually attended the World Diabetes Day celebration program organized by SKIMS.
Issuing a press statement today, Dr Tasaduk said that SKIMS has been a medical institution par excellence with regard to patient care and management, besides proving to be a great example for medical education and research in Jammu and Kashmir during the current era.
While appreciating about the WDD celebration program, Dr Itoo said that it was practical and impactful in every aspect with sharing of diabetic patient success stories especially of the young diabetics on stage – that would help others in coping this disease better.
“It was a great learning session with listening to highly informative lectures regarding diabetes care of some ace medico endocrinologists – like Professor Bashir Laway, Professor Shariq Masoodi, Professor Ashraf Ganaie, Professor Riaz Ahmad Misger including the speeches of Professor Parvaiz Koul(Director SKIMS), Dr. Farooq Jan(Medical Superintendent SKIMS), and others”, he said.
“I would like to pay my greetings to all of them, particularly Professor Shariq Masoodi, whose efforts have been always phenomenal in promoting health education of the masses and in bringing revolution into the lives of patients”, he added.
