Srinagar, Nov 11: In a much anticipated move Jammu and Kashmir Government appointed Dr Parvinder Singh Sudan as Director Animal Husbandry Department Kashmir. The Govt order issued vide No 512 JK(APD) of 2024 Dt: 08/112024 directed Dr Sudan to assume the charge of Director Animal Husbandry department Kashmir with immediate effect. The order also reads about holding the
charge of Chief Executive officer Livestock Development Board and Joint Director Institute of
Animal Health and Biological Products Kashmir additionally by the incumbent. Dr Sudan an Alumni of Bombay Veterinary College joined the department of Animal Husbandry as Veterinary Assistant Surgeon on 31/08/1989 and rose to the level of prestigious Director after serving the department in different capacities including Joint Director Research.
Dr Sudan has got a unique reputation among the vets of Jammu and Kashmir owing to his administrative capabilities and scientific temperament. Vets of the Kashmir are celebrating the appointment of Dr Sudan as technically sound head and thanked the Minister APD Javid Ahmad Dar and Principal Secretary to Government APD Shailendra Kumar for issuing much anticipated and expected order.
