Dr Farooq Abdullah pays obeisance at Asaar-e-Sharief Dargah Hazratbal

Srinagar, Oct 09: National Conference (NC) President and Member of Parliament from Srinagar,Dr. Farooq Abdullah Sunday paid obeisance at Asar-e-ShariefDargahHazratbal on the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Milad-Un Nabi (SAW).
A statement from the party said that Dr Farooq offered congregational Zuhar prayers and paid obeisance at the Shrine, which houses the holy relic of the Prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad (SAW).
Later the Party President also had a glimpse of the holy relic, which was displayed for public view after the prayers.
On the occasion, Dr Farooq prayed for lasting peace, prosperity, brotherhood and amity in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and the rest of the world.

Srinagar, Oct 09: Under the leadership of President AnjumanShari’iShian, Agha Syed Hasan-al-Mousvi, a Milad procession was taken out Sunday from Khanqah-e- Mir Shams-u-Din Araqi RA, Zadibal, Srinagar which culminated at Imam BargahGulshanBagh,BottaKadal,Srinagar in which hundreds of people including children participated.
A statement from the Anjuman said this day symbolises the concept of unity which is the nucleus message of Hafta-e-Wahdat.
The President of AnjumanShari’iShia Aga Syed Hassan Al Mousvi, expressed his views on diverse aspects of the last Prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad SAW, while expressing the beliefs of love for the Prophet-SAW, he said that to adore our Prophet is not just the verbal accumulation for gaining worldly repute but it is the love to endure and to follow the religious principles laid by our Last Prophet SAW.
The main objective to celebrate this week is to be the real and loyal followers of Islam.
While presenting the gifts to children Agha Syed Hasan al Mousvi said further that the blessed month in which our Prophet-SAW was sent is precisely the divine month for the Muslim Ummah to follow the divine Book and his Sunnah to serve the religion and nation with the strength of love and brotherhood.
