Chairperson of Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi on Wednesday chaired a meeting with the representatives of the Administration to review the preparations for Eid-ul-Fitr, Juma-tul-Vida, and Lailat-ul-Qadr.

A comprehensive coordinated facilitation plan was discussed threadbare to put in place a fool proof system ensuring all required facilities during the special festival days at the shrines and mosques.

Andrabi instructed Waqf Board management to coordinate with all departments as per the plan so that the the people don’t face any problems and hardships. “Our belief in cooperation has led us to successful management earlier and we are committed to provide fault free facilitation to all during these significant festival days. Public cooperation is our strength”, said Dr Darakhshan Andrabi.

She thanked the heads of different departments for extending their full cooperation to Waqf Board in making the management on such special days successful. Waqf Chairperson extended her greetings to the people on Jumat-ul-Vida and Shab-e-Qadr.

The meeting was attended by Umer Shah Senior Superintendent ofPolice HQ, Hilal Khalik SP Hazratbal, Peer Zahoor. SP Security, Zubair Ahmad Tehsildar, Mohammad Yousuf AEE Jal Shakti, Khurshid Ahmad AEE KPDCL, Mohammad Shabir Akhoon, EXEN KPDCL Division 4th, Peer Salim AEE LCMA, Fasil Khan DYSP SDRF, Abdul Rashid Medical Officer Hazratbal, Ghulam Mustafa Rather Sanitary Officer and other officers. Executive Magistrate of J&K Waqf Board & the EXEN of the Board also attended the meeting.
