DPS Jammu organizes poem recitation competition

Jammu, Nov 12: To spread the fragrance of poetry among the children, Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu organized Inter-Section Poem Recitation Competition for the students of Class III. 
The DPS Jammu in a release said the students participated with full enthusiasm and recited the rhymes with proper actions, expressions and voice modulation. Different topics were chosen such as Nature, Childhood Innocence, My First Teacher, My Pet, etc. which conveyed a great meaningful messages through them. The competition was aimed at developing confidence, self-awareness and communication skills among children.
The first position was bagged by Ruhani Bains (III-A) & Aarvi Jain (III-H), the second position was bagged by Aarvi Gupta (III-F) & Srishti Singh (III-B) while the third position was bagged by Vrinda (III-A) & Ansh Jasrotia (III-E). The consolation prize was also given to Dhariya Kotwal (III-i) & Alena Arora (III-J). The competition was adjudged by Ms. Sargam Gandotra and Ms. Rupali Sharma.
Principal-DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated the winners on their “great” success and expressed appreciation for parents and teachers for preparing the children so well. Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta also lauded the winners and participants. President-RCT, Ajatshatru Singh, PVC, Dr. Kuwarani Ritu Singh and Director, S.S Sodhi Ji also extended their best wishes to the winners and their parents.
