Bhaderwah, July 19: Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) on Wednesday held a meeting of its office bearers and workers here which was presided over by the party’s vice chairman G M Saroori, while Jammu province president Jugal Kishore Sharma and zonal president Chenab Zone P R Manhas and many other senior leaders were present.
“The main agenda of the meeting was strengthening the party at grassroots and to discuss arrangements for the upcoming visit of Ghulam Nabi Azad to Bhadarwah in August,” the party said in a statement issued here.
Manhas welcomed the senior leaders and party workers and G M Saroori laid the agenda for discussion. “It was decided that touring by all office bearers of Block, Dist and Zonal level shall be intensified and membership drive to be completed on priority. People will be made aware about the four-day program of Azad to various Panchayat headquarters of all three blocks – Bhadarwah, Bhalla and Chiralla,” the statement said, adding that Jugal Kishore Sharma gave the concluding address.
