Srinagar, Nov 03: In the recently concluded District Roller Skating Championship, organised by JKRSA under the direction of the J&K Sports Council, Doon International School, Srinagar, students bagged 10 medals.In total, more than 75 skaters (boys and girls) took part in various speed skating events.
Saulleh Mattoo won 3 Gold Medals. He was adjudged the best Skater Award in the Championship. Mujtaba Wani won 2 Silver Medals in the Senior categories.
Zuhaib Zahoor won 2 Bronze Medals in the U/17 category. Hamza wani and Inayat lone took 1 Silver Medal each in 1000mtr. Nimra Wani took away the Bronze Medal in 500mtrs Speed skating.
