Udhampur, May 31: On the occasion of the first death anniversary of the late Prof Bhim Singh, the NGO Dogra Kranti Dal team along with BJP leader and former MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia, paid floral tribute to the late Prof Bhim Singh on his first death anniversary.
On the occasion, Mankotia said that Prof Bhim Singh was not only a leader, lawyer, and social worker but also a great human being who spread the message of world peace by traveling around the world on a motorcycle. “He made proud the people of Jammu and Kashmir in the entire world. He was a prominent figure in the politics of Jammu and Kashmir, fighting for the rights and justice of the people. He tirelessly struggled to amplify the voice of the Dogras of  Jammu region,” he said.
Mankotia said that the identity of Prof. Bhim Singh was recognised as human rights activist when in December 2016, he was unanimously elected as the Senior Executive Member of the Supreme Court Bar Association. “The work done by Prof Bhim Singh will always be remembered,” he said.
The function was organised by Dogra Kranti Dal (NGO). On the occasion, retired ZEO Ramsarup, retired Headmaster Amar Nath Mehra, Councilor Samneek Bhaseen, Rajinder Singh, Harjit Singh, Advocate Mahadeep Singh, Mohinder Singh, Atul Manhas, Ravi, Kuldeep Singh, and many others were also present.
