The helpline aims to facilitate the movement and stay of tourists, particularly given the current security situation in the region.
According to an order from the Divisional Commissioner’s office, tourists seeking assistance can reach the 24/7 helpline at the following numbers: +911942-740003, 8899931010, and 8899941010. These lines are set up to address any issues or provide necessary support to tourists visiting the valley.
Additionally, specific contact numbers for various regions across the Kashmir valley have been made available. These numbers are aimed at offering targeted assistance and facilitating the needs of tourists in different areas. Some of the key contacts include Rahul Raina at the Tourist Reception Centre in Srinagar (9596311771), Mehnaz Khan from the Directorate of Tourism Srinagar (9622484772), and Sandeep Pandita, stationed at the Srinagar International Airport (6005892772), among others. Further assistance is available across South Kashmir, including Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian, and Pulwama, with the contact number 9906663868, as well as Central Kashmir, covering Srinagar, Budgam, and Ganderbal, with the number 9906906115.
The helpline will operate under the supervision of Director Tourism Kashmir, Raja Yaqoob Farooq, ensuring a streamlined and effective response to any queries or issues faced by tourists in the region.
