Bandipora, Apr 06: Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, on Sunday participated in the Navratri celebrations alongside Kashmiri Pandit employees and their families at the Kashmiri Pandit (KP) Colony in Odina, Sumbal. The event was marked by deep spiritual devotion and vibrant cultural activities.
Bhajans and prayers were held at the temple premises within the camp, followed by the distribution of prasad and an opportunity for community members to interact with the officials. The atmosphere was filled with devotion as the community gathered to mark the auspicious occasion of Navratri.
In his address, the Divisional Commissioner extended warm Navratri greetings to the attendees and assured them of the administration’s continued efforts to improve the living conditions and infrastructure at the accommodations provided to Kashmiri Pandit employees. “The administration is committed to ensuring that the community’s living standards are continuously enhanced,” he stated. Accompanying the Divisional Commissioner were Deputy Commissioner of Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, and senior officials from the district administration and police.
Migrant employees expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Vijay Kumar Bidhuri for his visit and active participation in the celebrations, acknowledging the administration’s support and commitment to their well-being.
