Div Com, DGP, DC Srinagar extend greetings on Eid

Srinagar, June 28: On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, the Divisional Commissioner (Div Com) Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri today extended greetings to people of Kashmir
In his message, Div Com prayed that this Eid may bring health, happiness and peace, prosperity in the lives of people.
The Div Com said that we must celebrate this festival with its true essence of compassion and kindness towards one another especially towards the needy and poor.
The Div Com also urged people to ensure proper disposal of hides and offal of sacrificial animals and to make judicious use of water.
Meanwhile, Director General of Police, J&K, Dilbag Singh also extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, families of martyrs, all ranks of JKP, other security forces and their families on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.
In his message, DGP has expressed his hope that this Eid will usher joy among the people of J&K including the Police/Security Forces, their families and the families of police martyrs.
He said that the festival of Eid is an occasion for sharing & caring about those who are in need besides our loved ones. He further added that the festivals give emphasis on strengthening the bond of brotherhood, peace, compassion, unity and harmony in the society.
Similarly, Deputy Commissioner(DC) Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad has conveyed Warmest Wishes to people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
Deputy Commissioner in his message extended his good wishes to the people on the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
The DC said Eid ul Azha is a great occasion for sharing happiness especially with the poor and needy. He said this is also the Holy occasion of imbibing the spirit of sincerity and truthfulness in our hearts and minds, besides spreading the feelings of love, compassion and affection among fellow human beings.
The DC said the holy occasion also reminds people of the great sacrifice by the Prophets of Islam Hazrat Ibrahim(AS) and his beloved son Hazrat Ismail(AS) who proved their loyalty, allegiance and faith in the Almighty.
The DC prayed for peace, progress and prosperity of the entire Jammu and Kashmir and also called for remembering the poorer sections of the society and making them integral part of the celebration.
