Bandipora, Dec 29: District Tinnikoit Bandipora Championship started at Government Boys Higher School Matrigam Bandipora on Thursday.
Vice Principal Hashim Hassan was the chief guest while SHO Pethkoot Bandipora Masood ul Hassan was the guest of honor on the occasion.
Around 120 participants, both boys and girls from different schools and clubs of the Bandipora district participated in the championship.
Hashim Hassan while congratulating the players appreciated the efforts of the organizers and welcomed all the athletes of the district in their institution. The championship is being organized by Bandipora Tinnikoit Association under the aegis of the J&K Tinnikoit Association.
While interacting with the players and spectators, SHO Pethkote Masood ul Hassan said that sports is the most vibrant means of channelizing the energy of the youth. He said the youth of Bandipora are highly talented and motivated to excel in different fields of sports.
