Ganderbal, Aug 02: Mir Waseem Ahmad Senior Vice President J&K Squash Rackets Association declared championship open on Wednesday at J&K Sports Council Squash Complex.
The championship is being organised by District Ganderbal Squash Rackets Association under the auspicious of J&K Squash Rackets Association and Sponsored by Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council.
Chief Guest on opening express his thanks to schools authorities for sending their players for participation in the event.He also express his sincere thanks to the J&K Sports Council for taking steps for the upliftment of Squash Sport in J&K. He also welcomes participating players and encouraged them to give their best for winning medals in the championship.
62 Players from various Schools of Ganderbal are participating in different categories.
Access Future Foundation, Al-Famiglia & Kashmir Pro Sports Academy supported the championship as Co-Sponsors.
The two days championship commence from today and is being concluding on 3rd of August, 2023. 18 matches in Boys Section & 16 in girls section played in Sub Junior, Junior & Senior categories in both genders.
