In a landmark initiative, District Administration Kishtwar launched Music Club, dedicated to nurture young and budding artists of the district here today. The Club has been established by District Administration Kishtwar in collaboration with the School Education Department.
Dr Devansh Yadav, Deputy Commissioner, unveiled the club in the presence of Chief Education Officer Prahlad Bhagat and Dy CEO, Masood Qazi.
Strategically located inside the premises of City Middle School Kishtwar, the club aims to provide a platform to facilitate artistic expression and collaboration.
Notable attendees included Music Master, Sugam Sangeet Academy, Mentor of Samridhi Sen, Sanjeev Sharma, IC Cultural Cell Awani Sen from the Education Department and Gulab Saifi from the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages.
The construction of Kishtwar Music Club was made possible under the District Mineral Fund Trust of District Administration Kishtwar spearheaded by Deputy Commissioner Dr Devansh Yadav.
The musical instruments were donated by Patel Engineering Pvt Ltd under CSR 2023-24.
