Anantnag, Jan 03: Director Health Services Kashmir, Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather on Wednesday led a transformative community outreach program in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, in line with government directives. The initiative focused on engaging with the community and addressing health concerns at the grassroots level.
During the program, Dr Mushtaq inspected various stalls dedicated to disease awareness and facilitated screenings for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs). The day also included the distribution of winter clothing, eyeglasses for visually impaired children, and the issuance of golden cards for government insurance schemes.
The event aimed to bridge healthcare gaps, create awareness about various ailments, and provide immediate resolutions for public concerns. Director Health Services and the local health administration’s joint efforts underscore their commitment to community well-being.
Director Health Services has been at the forefront of healthcare initiatives, driving positive change and ensuring the welfare of the people in the Kashmir region. During the program, the Director also engaged with Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), senior citizens, and media representatives.
Addressing a diverse range of concerns raised by these groups, Dr Mushtaq provided a patient hearing and assured resolutions for the issues at hand. This interactive session further highlights the government’s commitment to inclusivity and responsiveness in healthcare initiatives.”
