A Cultural program cum Mushaira was today organised by the Cultural Unit of Department of Information and Public Relations, in collaboration with Dogri Sahitya Sabha Kuppad Pargalta on the theme Nasha Mukt Bharat campaign.
Artists of the Cultural Wing of Information Department Jammu participated in the event held at Dogri Sahitya Sabha Kuppad Pargalta near Railway Station Bajalta.
The artists presented Folk songs, patriotic songs and theme based songs. Poets of the Dogri Sahitya Sabha also recited their poems on the topic.
Speaking on the occasion Subash Sumbria, President Dogri Sahitya Sabha shared his views on the subject and also appreciated the Cultural Unit of Department of Information and Public Relations Jammu for organizing such a meaningful program to aware the people of Bajalta.
Among others, poets and members of the Dogri Sahitya Sabha, officials of the Information Department and a large number of audience witnessed the program. The whole program was conducted under the supervision of Cultural Officer Mr Mukesh Kumar Sharma.
