Dilshad Shaheen appointed Apni Party’s Women’s Wing head

Srinagar, July 29: The Apni Party on Monday announced that Dilshad Shaheen, who previously served as the provincial president of the party’s women’s wing, will now hold the position of president of the wing for the entire Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Her appointment as president of the women’s wing was approved by the party head, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, the party said in a statement.
The order issued by the party’s General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir reads: “Mr Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, President of Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party, is pleased to appoint Ms Dilshad Shaheen as Apni Party Women Wing President (J&K UT). This appointment is effective immediately.”
