Reasi, Jan 17: DIG Udhampur Reasi Range Mohd Suleman Choudhary interacted with a group of students of Reasi district on their return from Bharat Darshan Tour on Tuesday here at District Police Lines.
On the occasion, the students shared their views and learning experience during the weeklong tour to Delhi and Kolkata. The students were excited to narrate their travel experiences and the sites visited by them. They said it was a great opportunity for them as they got to know about the diverse culture, languages, and architecture of the county.
Welcoming the students, the DIG UR Range said, “J&K Police is organizing the Bharat Darshan tours for youth and students of far-flung areas to educate them about our diversified culture and groom them to become good citizens and achieve great heights in the future.” He said traveling to different places is itself a valuable experience during which people get to learn different aspects of life and advised them to share their experience with their families and friends in their schools.
SSP Reasi Amit Gupta said students on a Bharat Darshan tour visited North block, South Block, Delhi, National Police Memorial, Red Fort, India Gate, Jantar Mantar Delhi, President House, Raj Ghat, Museum of Red Fort Delhi, and had an interaction with Special Commissioner of Delhi Police and then on their visit to Kolkata by air interacted with senior police officers of Kolkata Police. They also visited Victoria Memorial Museum Kolkata, Howrah Bridge, Eco Park, Quest Mall, Zoological Garden Alipore, Science City, Birla Industrial & Technological Museum, Underground Mock-up Coal Mine, etc, he said.
The families of participating students appreciated the efforts of District Police Reasi for organizing such a wonderful Bharat Darshan Tour for their wards.
