DIG Traffic Jmu reviews traffic challenges in Rajouri-Poonch range

Jammu, July 31: DIG Traffic Jammu, Dr. Haseeb Mughal Wednesday chaired a meeting to review traffic challenges in Rajouri-Poonch Range .
He interacted with officers and officials of traffic police Rajouri and Poonch. He was accompanied by SSP traffic Rural Jammu Vinay Kumar Kullar JKPS.

At the outset of the meeting/interaction session, a welcome address was given by DySP traffic Rajouri – Poonch, Nawaz Ahmed in which senior officers were welcomed and briefed about day to day functioning of traffic police.
The challenges and issues of traffic police in general were also brought to notice of the senior officers.

All the issues were listened to carefully by DIG traffic Jammu Range and noted down for early redressal.

Issues related to parking slots in Rajouri, increased percentage of e-auto rickshaws, traffic booths in towns were also discussed.

SSP Traffic rural Jammu Vinay Kumar Khullar, while speaking stressed on discipline, right code of conduct while performing duties.
DIG Traffic, Dr. Mughal advised the officers and officials to maintain personal security and security of fellow officials.
He emphasised that the need of the hour is to keep a high vigil around and contribute actively in maintaining overall peace in the area. Directions were also imparted on officers and officials for maximising the use of electronic gadgets and body worn cameras when on duties.
He briefed in detail to officers and officials regarding upcoming SBANJY 2024 and directed all to gear up for Yatra duties. He stressed upon the Traffic Police officers to maintain a close coordination with District Police and other sister agencies.
