Srinagar, Nov 10: Director Health Services Kashmir on Friday visited different health institutions to take stock of facilities there.
Director Health Services Kashmir Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather visited UPHC Khonmoh, PHC Khrew, PHC Woyen, PHC Zewan, PHC Lasjan and other hospitals.
Director was accompanied by BMO Pampore, ZMO Batamaloo and other health officials.
While visiting these institutions director put emphasis to make efforts so as to provide better health care facilities to the people.
He directed officials to make internal arrangements so that patients at any hospital won’t suffer and staff must be trained so that they can run every machine available at the hospital.
During his visit he found X-Ray machine is lying defunct at UPHC Khonmoh due to unavailability of technician and on spot directions were given to make technician available at the centre.
During the tour it was found that all the institutions are functioning properly and providing the desired services as per set norms and IPHS guidelines.
Director health services stressed for maintaining proper hygiene and sanitation in all the centers.
Director health services further said that all the facilities are having the staff as per guidelines and appreciated them for doing excellent job. He directed them to work with more zeal and zest.
