Srinagar, Nov 08: Director General of Border Security Force (BSF), Nitin Agrawal on Wednesday took a comprehensive assessment of the operational preparedness along the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district. He emphasized the significance of these forward deployments in safeguarding India’s borders.
DG Agrawal highlighted the crucial role played by the troops in ensuring the nation’s security and expressed gratitude for their dedication. He also inspected the logistical infrastructure and facilities available to the troops in these challenging areas.
During the visit, DG underscored the importance of well-maintained resources to support the troops in their duties along the LoC, particularly during adverse weather conditions.
A BSF official said that this visit is part of the ongoing efforts by the BSF to monitor and enhance the operational readiness of its units along the LoC, which serves as a critical line of defence.
“It demonstrates the commitment of the BSF to maintaining a strong and resilient presence along the borders to protect the nation’s sovereignty,” he said.
