Kupwara, May 30: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan on Thursday convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress of ongoing road projects under NABARD.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC said that the development of road connectivity remains among the top priorities of the government and the district administration is committed towards improving the road network in the district.
She called on the officers of the R&B department to work with added zeal and dedication and ensure the completion of all ongoing road projects within the stipulated time frame.
On the occasion, it was informed that 76 projects under NABARD were approved at an estimated cost of Rs 27442.91 lakh, out of which 19 projects have been completed and work is in progress on 42 projects.
The DDC took a comprehensive review of all these projects and got feedback about the progress of each project. She set timelines for all the ongoing projects and stressed the concerned officers to ensure the completion of these projects accordingly.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Planning Officer, Executive Engineers of all R&B Divisions, Ex Engineer PHE Kupwara and other concerned officers.
