Srinagar, Oct 11: AamAdmi Party (AAP) Tuesday accused Jammu and Kashmir Government and BharatiyaJanta Party Government in Delhi of resorting to “worst treatment” to employees of different government departments in Jammu and Kashmir, who are being deprived of salaries and postings as per safety of their life.
State spokesperson of AAP GaganPartap, while addressing, an emergent press conference in Party office in Jammu, said that employees working in different government departments are backbone of system and their services always remain pivotal in public services delivery system and most important role is being played by the daily wages who work on meagre salaries but perform full duties like a regular employee.
Since months, thousands of Government employees of different government departments are sitting on roads in protest for their genuine demands but no one within the government quarters is bothering to listen to their grievances and these employees have been left on the mercy of God.
He added that daily wagers of different departments working since decades are also on road for their genuine demands including regularisitation and amendment in SRO 520 but Government is not paying any concern towards them also.
“Depriving Government employees of their salaries and other genuine rights is a grave human rights violation and injustice and it shows that the government is not serious towards its own employees.” GaganPartap said.
