Srinagar, Jan 03 : A thick blanket of fog enveloped Srinagar and its surrounding areas on Friday, ahead of the snowfall forecasted by the weather department.
A fresh spell of snow and rain is predicted to begin on January 5, 2025.
According to the Kashmir weather forecast, Srinagar recorded a temperature of -2.2 degrees Celsius.
Tourist destination places Like pahalgam and Gulmarg recorded a temperature of -4.5 ⁰C and -4.5⁰ C.
Budgam and Ganderbal recorded temperatures of -3.2 and -4.3°C, respectively. Meanwhile, Bandipora and Baramulla recorded temperatures of -2.5°C and -4.8°C.
