JDU State General Secretary Vivek Bali and District President Jammu Raj Kumar delegation today called on Party President G M Shaheen and discussed organizational matters and brought to his notice the problems being faced by different segments of society in Jammu and Kashmir.

A delegation of Senior Leaders , led by its Vivek Bali and Raj Kumar brought to the notice of the party president G M Shaheen the resentment of the community over the proposed reorganization of the assembly constituencies, saying that the recommendations have no logic and are detrimental for the electors in general and the community in particular.

G M Shaheen urged the delegations to strengthen the party at the grass roots level by intensifying the mass outreach programme. He said the Janata Dal United is a mass movement, which has withstood all the challenges faced to Jammu and Kashmir over the decades and it will continue to serve the people and strive for a dignified life for them, irrespective of caste, creed, region or religion.

Vivek Bali said advised the cadres to enhance their public outreach and remain politically active in their respective areas.
“I urge you to remain active and strongly bonded with the masses at the grassroots level. Our primary job is to serve the people in terms of ensuring that their issues and grievances are highlighted and effectively communicated to the relevant authorities for prompt resolution.”
