Jammu, Dec 01: A deputation of Sidhra residents called on Apni Party President Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari here at Party Office, Gandhi Nagar in Jammu.
The Apni Party Provincial President Jammu S. Manjit Singh was also present on the occasion. The deputation was led by Apni Party Youth Wing General Secretary and Spokesperson, Abhay Bakaya.
The residents of ward number 71 in Sidhra apprised about the difficulties they were facing at their area because of poor development and road infrastructure, the party said in a statement.
“They said that they had raised the issue with the concerned authorities regarding poor basic amenities, improper supply of clean drinking water, unscheduled power cuts, poor road connectivity, and the concerns regarding lanes, and drains. They also expressed concern that they are not provided benefits of the government schemes in their area and most of the people remain away from the benefits that are being offered by the government through their schemes.
This is happening because the concerned government department shows lack of interest in educating people about such schemes that would benefit the local population,” the statement said.
Altaf Bukhari assured them that their concerns would be highlighted before the concerned authorities, and the Apni Party would continue to support them. Those present in the deputation included Shakti Devi, Sushma Devi, Shoukat Ali, Noor Mohammed, Maneesh, Tufail, Raiz, Sushma Rai and others.
