Srinagar, Jan 9: Boosting up his public outreach campaign, DDC Vice Chairman Shopian and State General Secretary Apni Party’s Youth Wing Irfan Manhas on Monday organised a public outreach programme to listen to public grievances.
According to an official statement, Manhas visited Marhang village of Tehsil Keegam wherein he met the people and took stock of the public issues and grievances. He was accompanied by a group of party leaders and senior workers.
During his daylong visit to Marhang village, he gave a warm welcome to a large group of political workers and activists in the Apni Party. The new entrants earlier belonged to various political parties, including the BJP, NC, and PDP.
According to the statement during his visit to Marhang and adjoining villages, Manhas met several public delegations who informed him about the public issues and grievances that people of these villages are grappling with. He assured the people that their grievances would be taken up and sorted out at the earliest.
