DDC member Parmeet Kour distributes sports kits to Rafiabad youth

Baramulla, Jan 21: Parmeet Kour, Member of the District Development Council, Rafiabad, on Sunday distributed ten cricket kits to various cricket clubs at the Dangiwacha area of Baramulla. The distribution ceremony was organized in the presence of District Youth Service and Sports Officer and other distinguished officers.
Valued at 9.33 lakh rupees, the sports equipment was sourced through the Youth Service and Sports Department from the Capex Budget DDC grants allocated for the fiscal year 2023-24. This allocation underscores the firm commitment to promoting sports and fostering community engagement in Rafiabad.
The expenditure of funds for sports equipment highlights the importance given to youth development and recreational activities at the community level.
This distribution of cricket kits aims to encourage the active participation of local youth in sports activities and explore their talent.
