DDC Chairperson Ramban inaugurates work of Sports infrastructure at Sangaldan

Chairperson, District Development Council, Ramban, Dr. Shamshad Shan today kick started construction of sports infrastructure including Volleyball Synthetic Ground at Movalkote, Sangaldan in the Sub Division, Gool.

Addressing the gathering,  the Chairperson said that the sports projects are being executed by the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council to facilitate the youth of the area for various disciplines of games. She said that work on various sports projects are going on and some would be taken up soon  to facilitate the youth.

The Chairperson also kick started the construction of up-gradation of link road from Peer Morh to Fulsar via Eid Gah being executed by the Public Works Department, Ramban.

The Chairperson said that with the completion of the project, a long pending demand of the area will be fulfilled which will go a long way in easing the life of locals.

The Chairperson directed the Engineers of the PWD to ensure quality and timely completion of construction work which will benefit thousands of souls of the area.

The Chairperson also asked the PRIs to personally monitor the execution of work to ensure quality and timely completion of developmental works and implementation of all youth and beneficiary oriented schemes in their respective areas.  

The Chairperson also interacted with the people and listened to their issues of developmental needs.

Among others, PRIs, Engineers from PWD and the general public present on the occasion.

ANC President Begum Khalida Shah & Sr Vice President Mr Muzzafar Shah have expressed deepest condolences to Advocate Seema khajuria & family on the demise of her father shri ManMohan Khajuria.Begum Khalida Shah has described late Khajuria sahib as an outstanding police chief with an impeccable record who served the state of Jammu & kashmir with dedication & honesty. It is very hard to find such upright officers of his caliber & rectitude , she said. The ANC chief prays for peace to the departed soul & strength to the family in bearing this irreparable loss.ANC Sr VP Mr Muzzafar Shah while condoling the demise of ManMohan Khajuria ji has said that J&K has lost a great son & a very noble soul. Our heartfelt condolences to Seema ji & family.
