DC XI triumphs over SSP XI in thrilling match organized to commemorate JK UT Foundation Day

Rajouri, Oct 26: In a display of unity and sportsmanship, the District Administration Rajouri on Thursday organised a friendly match between DC XI and SSP XI in which DC XI emerged victorious against the SSP XI in a thrilling T20 match held at the Sports Stadium Kheora. The match was a significant event organized on the theme of Nasha Mukt Abhiyan to commemorate JK UT Foundation Day.
The match brought together civil administration officers/officials and police administration officers/officials, highlighting the power of sports to bridge gaps and foster camaraderie among different sections of society. Cricket enthusiasts from all walks of life gathered to witness this exciting clash, which symbolized the spirit of resilience, determination, and personal growth.
The tournament aims to channelize the boundless energy of our youth in the right direction, promoting their holistic development and creating a stronger, more vibrant society. Through the medium of sports, the event conveyed a powerful message about the pivotal role of sports in combating the drug menace and building a healthier community.
The DC XI, led by the Deputy Commissioner of Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, showcased exceptional skills and teamwork throughout the match. The team’s Vice-captain, ADC Rajouri, Rajiv Kumar Khajuria, played a crucial role in guiding and motivating the players to give their best on the field.
The DC XI team members exhibited commendable sportsmanship, showcasing their commitment to fair play and the spirit of the game. The team was composed of officers and officials from the civil administration, including DPO Rajouri, Auqil Nuvaid, DSWO Rajouri, Abdul Rahim, BDO Darhal, Mohd Aamir, Jr Asstt,  Mudasir Dar, Jr Assistant, Suhail Dar, teacher, Rahil Iqbal, Patwari, Shezad Ahmed, Mohd Owais, and Mehmood Ahmed.
Facing a tough challenge, the SSP XI exhibited remarkable sportsmanship and a never-give-up attitude. The team members including ASP Rafi Giri, AC Jatinder from 72 Bn CRPF, DySP Shamim Kumar, DySP Deepak Jasrotia, Inspector Aashiq Hussain, SI Kulvinder Dev, PSI Sahil Sharma, PSI Shezad Ali, PSI Kunal Kumar, PSI Rajat Sharma, PSI Rajat Jasrotia, and PSI Rahul Dogra contributed to the spirited effort of the team.
The match witnessed thrilling moments, showcasing the exceptional talent of the players and their commitment to the game. It served as a platform to celebrate the spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie, bringing together individuals from diverse professional backgrounds.
This cricket match between the DC XI and SSP XI stands as a testament to the power of sports in fostering unity, promoting physical well-being, and nurturing a sense of belonging within the community. It serves as an inspiration for future generations, encouraging them to embrace sportsmanship, resilience, and the pursuit of excellence.
