Rajouri, March 14: Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Gaurav Sikarwar Friday celebrated Holi with the civil society of the Rajouri district at town hall.
Civil Society representatives, including MLA Rajouri were present, marking a historic moment for the region. Keeping the traditions, the district administration, religious leaders, and civil society came together to celebrate the festival of colours in a spirit of unity and brotherhood.
Adding to the festive spirit, the grand Jhanki of Bhairon Baba, being taken over the past eight days, concluded smoothly last evening. The seamless conduct of the event highlighted the collaborative efforts of the administration and the local community in ensuring a peaceful and joyous atmosphere. Speaking on the occasion, DC Abhishek Sharma extended his warm greetings to the people, emphasising the importance of inclusive celebrations in fostering social bonds. SSP Rajouri commended the collective efforts of all stakeholders in ensuring a secure and vibrant Holi celebration.
