Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Faz Lul Haseeb today handed-over Abhinandan Patras among Pani Samitis of four villages of the district under Jal Jeevan Mission, marking a significant achievement of universal coverage of households with FHTCs.
The villages where the piped water with full functional tap water connections was provided and felicitated today include Chitragam, Qugnoo, Gatipora and Mujpathri villages.
645 Households, including 144 households of Chitragam, 106 households of Qungnoo and 395 households of Gatipora and Mujpathri got benefitted by Jal Jeevan Mission scheme recently and are provided quality and adequate drinking water facility as per the norms of JJM.
