DC Samba releases pocket-size statistical handbook ‘District at a Glance’

Samba, July 12: District Development Commissioner Samba, Rajesh Sharma, released a pocket-sized handbook titled District at a Glance, compiled by the District Statistics and Evaluation Office.A statement issued here said that present were Chief Planning Officer Kasturi Lal, DSEO Rupinder Kaur, ACR Ajay Bharti, Statistical Officer DSEO Office and other staff. The publication provides a summary of key socio-economic and demographic data for 2022–23 and 2023–24. It is intended for use by planners, researchers and departments for development initiatives. The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the DSEO team and the cooperation of government departments for their contribution in finalising the publication.
