DC Rajouri reviews arrangements for Eid-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW)

Rajouri, Oct 07: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundalon Friday reviewed the arrangements for the forthcoming auspicious occasion of Eid-Milad-un-Nabi(SAW) here in a meeting with officers and members of different religious organisations.
The meeting was attended by SSP, Mohd Aslam; ADC Rajouri, Sachin Dev Singh; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Imran Rashid Kataria and other concerned officers from different departments.
The DC asked the concerned departments to ensure uninterrupted water and power supply, medicare facilities, parking facilities, transport. “Provide all requisite facilities to the public like drinking water, sanitation, medicare, transport, uninterrupted power and water supply and make other necessary arrangements in this regard” he asked the departments.
The Police authorities were directed to deploy adequate police personnel on the holy day for the security of the public. The Traffic authorities were directed to prepare well thought-out traffic management and parking plans in order to ensure hassle-free to-and-fro movement of vehicles on the scheduled day.
The concerned officer from the fire and emergency Department was directed to keep the fire tenders on alert 24/7. EO MC has been directed to ensure cleanliness in the town on the Day.
The DC also directed the concerned officer from the Health Department to keep available all the medicare facilities for the public to meet any emergency.
He also asked the concerned officers to ensure that all the requisite arrangements related to festivals are put in place well in time so that the public don’t face any inconveniences during the auspicious occasion.
