The District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting convened today at the Circuit House Pulwama chaired by Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Dr. Basharat Qayoom highlighted significant strides in the banking sector’s development.
The Lead Bank Manager provided a comprehensive overview of the banking sector’s performance, showcasing notable increases in deposits, advances, and the CD ratio for the quarter. The meeting was informed of a substantial rise in the priority sector.
Dr Basharat conducted a meticulous sector-wise performance review, focusing on the banks’ implementation of various Government initiatives aimed at employment generation. The chair was appraised that in the current financial year, 5640 cases were sanctioned, with 4983 cases disbursed, totaling 1236 crores and benefiting 27,193 youth in the District.
