Deputy Commissioner, Yasin M. Choudhary, who also serves as the Chairman of the Road Safety Committee, convened a meeting with members of the District Road Safety Committee in Poonch to address the formulation and implementation of an effective traffic management plan.
The meeting was attended by ADC Poonch, Tahir Mustafa Malik, ACR Poonch, Zaheer Ahmed Kaifi besides other concerned officers.
The meeting encompassed a comprehensive discussion on various agenda points, highlighting key areas such as the installation of crash barriers, progress on Mughal Road construction, tackling overloading and illegal parking, organizing road safety awareness camps, enhancing ambulance facilities, identifying accident-prone areas and assessing the total number of vehicles in the district.
