Samba, Aug 08: Aayushi Sudan, Friday assumed the charge as Deputy Commissioner Samba and chaired an introductory meeting with senior officers, heads of departments and sectoral functionaries at the Administrative Complex, Nandni Hills. She called for the synergised efforts to make the district a good governance model.According to a statement issued here, the meeting began with officers introducing themselves and outlining departmental mandates, achievements and ongoing initiatives. In her address, the Deputy Commissioner stressed seamless inter-departmental coordination, transparency and adherence to timelines to ensure timely and effective implementation of public welfare programmes. She urged officers to adopt a people-centric approach, ensure prompt grievance redressal and prioritise critical developmental needs. She emphasised stakeholder engagement, responsiveness to citizens and upholding integrity and accountability in all administrative domains. She called upon officers to work as a cohesive team to make Samba a benchmark district for efficient governance, sustainable growth and inclusive development. The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Champa Devi Thakur, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jagdish Singh and senior officers of the district administration.
