Budgam, Jan 12: Deputy Commissioner of Budgam, Akshay Labroo, visited the under-construction school building at Rakh Arath Bemina on Friday.
During the visit, the DC assessed the progress of the ongoing work, which included painting, window and door fittings, and other related tasks.
He instructed the concerned authorities to ensure the timely completion of all pending works, including the sanitary facilities for the washrooms.
Akshay Labroo, the Deputy Commissioner of Budgam, said that the school is expected to function normally in the coming session, ensuring a smooth education for the local students of Rakh Arath.
“The district administration is fully committed to completing and dedicating long-pending infrastructure projects in the district,” DC Budgam said.
He further said that in the past few months, several projects in the health and education departments have been successfully completed and dedicated to the general public.
“The School at Rakh Arath Bemina is also one such project that has been stuck and pending for some time now due to various bottlenecks and will be completed soon and dedicated to the public very shortly,” DC Budgam said.
