Budgam, Oct 22: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo on Tuesday visited various infrastructural project sites in Budgam to take a firsthand appraisal of the progress of works.
During the visit, the DC assessed the progress of the 125-bedded New District Hospital and the 100-bedded Critical Care Unit (CCU) Budgam. He stressed the importance of expediting the projects to ensure the timely availability of advanced healthcare facilities for the residents.
“The projects aim to improve the district’s healthcare infrastructure, reflecting the government’s commitment to providing quality medical services to the people of Budgam,” the DC said. “All stakeholders have worked in a focused manner to ensure that work on this prestigious project is carried out at a fast pace for its eventual timely dedication to the people of district Budgam.”
The DC inspected the Multi-Level Car Parking facility in Budgam and highlighted the importance of efficient parking solutions in managing urban traffic and enhancing accessibility. He interacted with staff to discuss any challenges they faced and improvements.
Besides, the CPO, CMO, Executive Engineer R&B Budgam, AEEs, and all concerned officers were also present during this site inspection.
