Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Shakeel Ur Rehman, Chairman District Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), today convened a meeting to take appraisal of the works being executed under JJM in the district .
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Bandipora Mohammad Ashraf Bhat, ADC Bandipora Umar Shafi, CPO, Executive Engineer(s) Jal Shakti Department and all other members of District Jal Jeevan Mission Bandipora.
The meeting was informed that in Bandipora District 122 Water Supply Schemes have been taken up for achieving cent percent saturation of households in Jal Jeevan Mission. Under the Har Ghar Jal initiative of JJM, 38 Rapid Sand Filtration Plants, 22 Over Head Tanks, 18 Bore wells, 149 pipe networks, and other allied works are under execution. District Bandipora has 47358 FHTCs, out of which 38871 households have been provided tap water connections.
