The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad Thursday conducted a comprehensive review of the progress made under CAPEX/ADF (Additional Demand Fund) works implemented by the Rural Development Department (RDD) in the district.

The meeting reviewed the progress of ongoing CAPEX/ADF works undertaken by the RDD. The DC said that these works, financed by the District Capex Budget and the Additional Demand Fund, play a crucial role in rural development.

Dr Owais reviewed the physical status of each project, highlighting the need for quality construction and timely completion. He stressed that delays in project completion would not be tolerated and instructed officials to address any bottlenecks hindering progress.

During the meeting, it was given out that under CAPEX/ADF, for the current fiscal, rupees 44 crore have been allocated to RDD for various works with an expenditure of rupees 23.44 crore till date. The meeting was further informed that out of 1538 works, 1120 works stand completed till date.
