Poonch, June 22: Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal Sunday visited the revered Baba Budh Giri Ashram at Behramgala in Poonch, where he participated in the Annual Bhandara and took part in a Havan.
The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by SDM Surankote Farooq Khan, Tehsildar Mohammad Akbar and other officers. The Deputy Commissioner interacted with the Ashram Committee members and devotees, congratulating them for the successful conduct of the religious event. Several developmental and infrastructural demands were raised by the Committee, including the construction of a Langer Shed, a 100-metre link road to the Mandir and repair of old stairs, among others. The Deputy Commissioner assured the committee that the district administration is committed to addressing these demands, ensuring that pilgrims from Poonch and other areas have a safe and comfortable experience at the Ashram.
