DAP demands filling up of all vacant posts, regularisation of daily wagers

Rajouri, Oct 14: Democratic Azad Party (DAP) Friday demanded filling up of all 1.25 lakh vacant posts and regularization of daily wagers to combat unrest among the educated unemployed youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to a statement, in a PirPanjal zone meeting held at DakBunglowRajouri, the party urged for establishing a tourist circuit connecting all the scenic and religious destinations of Pirpanjal which includes seven virgin lakes, Shri. Buddha Amarnath, Shadra Sharif Shrine, Nangali sahib, SainMiran, Sian Allah Baksh shrines, Shiv Khori, BansdveerBahadur, Mangla Mata, Manvamata, Tattapani, historical forts of Danti, QilaGulabgarh, Danidhar, Panjnara, QilaThanamandi and diverting Mata Vaishno Devi shrine tourists to these tourist destinations of PirPanjal.
In the meeting different delegations from Kalakote, Sunderbani, Darhal, Thanamandi, Taryath, Doongi and Dangri blocks meet the recently constituted Pirpanjal zone committee members namely Ashok Sharma, Rajinder Sharma, Masood Choudhary, ZahidSarfraz Malik and Lovely Gupta and apprised them about socio economic and political situation of their local areas.
The delegations expressed concern over the scarcity of drinking water, power supply, road connectivity, heath care facilities particularly in SDH’s, CHC’s, PHC’s, shortage of teaching staff in schools besides restoration of statehood, land and job guarantee.
The committee assured the delegations to project their problems before the chairman Democratic Azad Party, GhulamNabi Azad for taking up with the Union and UT governments for their redressal.
