CUK faculty, students watch PM’s ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’

Ganderbal, Jan 29: The faculty members, staff, scholars and students of the Central University of Kashmir (CUKashmir) watched the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s “Pariksha Pe Charcha-2024,” (7th edition) address to the teachers, students and parents, through webcast, at varsity’s Green Campus here on Monday.
Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. Shahid Rasool, Dean DSW, Dr. Irfan Aalam, were present.
In his address, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, said, “It is crucial to instill resilience in children and help them cope with pressures”. He said the challenges of students must be addressed collectively by parents as well as teachers”, adding that “Healthy competition augurs well for students’ growth. Never sow the seeds of competition and rivalry between children, rather, siblings should be an inspiration for each other”.
The Hon’ble PM said, “Teachers are not in a job role, but they shoulder the responsibility of grooming the lives of students”. “The bond between students and teachers must be beyond syllabus and curriculum”.
The Hon’ble Prime Minister mentioned the creations by the students in the exhibition held at the venue (Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi) where they expressed aspirations and concepts like New National Education Policy in various shapes. He said these exhibits reflect what the new generations think about various topics and what solutions they have for these issues.
He answered several questions posed by the students studying in different educational institutions across the country.
