CRPF organizes free medical camp in Srinagar

Srinagar, Oct 14: The 117 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), under the aegis of Srinagar Sector, CRPF, organized a day-long free medical camp at the Government Girls Higher Secondary Institute, Chanpora.
The event was a resounding success, providing specialized medical consultation to close to 300 patients of various age groups, including males, females, and children from Natipora, Chanpora, Nowgam, Methan, and neighboring areas.
 
A team of dedicated doctors extended their services to ensure the well-being of the local community.
Migrant laborers also benefited greatly from this noble initiative. The women received specialized care from gynecologists, and the elderly received valuable geriatric advice from the dedicated medical professionals present at the camp.
The event was inaugurated by  Mathew A. John, DIG Srinagar South, in the presence of Biplab Sarkar, Commandant 117 Battalion, and Aijaz Ahmad, SHO PS Chanpora.
John interacted with the local community and reiterated CRPF’s commitment to the well-being of the people in Srinagar.
Dr. Samina Wani, Principal of the Government Girls Higher Secondary Institute, Chanpora, graciously made the school ground available for this noble cause. She commended the efforts of CRPF in coming to the aid of the local population. Prominent residents of the locality also visited the medical camp and praised the commendable efforts of the CRPF.
Biplab Sarkar, Commandant of the 117 Battalion, and his team of officers, including Sh. Abhiram Pankaj, Second In Command, Sh. Pankaj Kr. Singh, AC, Sh. Vijay Kumar, AC and Sh. T. Ravichandra, AC, coordinated their efforts to ensure the success of this vital medical camp.
In his remarks,  Biplab Sarkar expressed his gratitude to the local residents for their overwhelming response despite the rains and cold weather and reaffirmed CRPF’s unwavering commitment to the welfare and well-being of the local community.
The 117 Battalion CRPF’s free medical camp at the Government Girls Higher Secondary Institute, Chanapora, stands as a testament to the organization’s dedication to serving the people of Srinagar. The success of this event is a reflection of the collective efforts of CRPF personnel and the community’s support.
