Srinagar, June 09: Shahid Bashir, topper of the 12th class science stream, attributed his outstanding achievement to his unwavering consistency and dedication. The class 12th board results were announced today evening, revealing Shahid’s exceptional score of 496/500, earning him an impressive 99.2 percent.
Shahid, a student of Fayaz Educational Institute in Faizabad Nowgam Srinagar, emphasized the importance of self-study, acknowledging that each individual possesses a unique intellectual capacity for grasping different subjects.
Hailing from Badipora village in Chadoora area of Budgam district, Shahid expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all those who contributed to his remarkable success. He emphasized the key roles played by his teachers and parents in shaping his academic journey. “Their unwavering support and guidance were invaluable, and without them, his achievements would not have been possible,” he said.
When asked about his family’s role in his achievement, Shahid expressed his gratitude, noting that his family members never pressured him, allowing him to pursue his goals with a calm and focused mindset.
The topper of science faculty told Rising Kashmir that his “Primary focus had initially been on preparing for the highly competitive NEET Examination. However, when the board exams approached, he seamlessly transitioned his efforts to excel in both arenas. With disciplined consistency, he dedicated around two hours daily to his studies, ensuring a well-rounded preparation for all his exams. Shahid also credited his father, a government employee, for playing a vital role in his journey towards success.
“Shahid’s remarkable achievement serves as a shining example to aspiring students everywhere, highlighting the significance of consistent efforts, self-motivation, and strong support systems,” said one of the Shahid’s school teacher.
Those who couldn’t achieve success in this attempt, Shahid advises them to have faith in Almighty and not lose hope. He encourages them to come back stronger and believes that with perseverance and determination, they will undoubtedly achieve success. “It is essential to maintain a positive mindset, learn from failures, and continue striving towards one’s goals,’’ he added.
Meanwhile, in a remarkable achievement, Rujul Ganjoo, a student of Government Higher Secondary School, Dadrasa Tral, has emerged as a shining star in the field of science. Securing an impressive score of 492 out of 500, Rujul has attained an outstanding 98.4 per cent in the examinations.
His remarkable success has not only brought glory to Rujul but has also shed light on the quality education being imparted in government-run schools. The exceptional performance of Rujul has garnered widespread appreciation from the public, as it highlights the rarity of students from government schools achieving top positions.
