Srinagar Dec 03: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Chief Vikar Rasool Wani Saturday said the party is strong enough and cannot be cowed down by any propaganda adding that it represents the urges and aspirations of the people.
The JKPCC Chief made these remarks at Srinagar Party Office where prominent political leaders from BJP, PC, APNI Party and NYP joined Congress Party and “expressed confidence in the pro-people policies and programmes of the party.”
Speaking on the occasion, Wani expressed confidence that the new entrants will utilize Congress Platform to serve people to the best of their ability.
He said the Congress Party alone represents the urges and aspirations of the people, in true sense.
“Congress Party is strong enough, it cannot be cowed down by the falsehood and malicious propaganda of BJP,” Wani added and urged the Party workers to remain steadfast to serve people and highlight their issues for their resolution.
Those who joined Congress party along with hundreds of supporters included Ghulam Mohammad Mir, Altaf Malik, Mohammad Kamal, and Javed Ahmad Bhat.
