JAMMU, Sept 26: The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and a prominent BJP leader, Yogi Adityanath, addressed a series of public rallies on Thursday, asserting that the Congress party is the root cause of many issues plaguing India, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir. Adityanath declared, “Congress is the mother of all problems in India, especially J&K, and the BJP guarantees solutions to all the challenges created by Congress since independence.”
During his speeches, Yogi Adityanath highlighted the BJP’s commitment to addressing problems stemming from terrorism, Naxalism, regionalism, and corruption, attributing these issues to Congress’s governance. He asserted, “The BJP is a guarantee for the solution of all problems and is dedicated to taking J&K forward, making it the most developed state in the country.”
The Chief Minister emphasized that the abrogation of Article 370 was pivotal in resolving the region’s challenges, stating, “The root cause of all problems in J&K was Article 370, which has been abrogated by PM Modi. Now, J&K is marching ahead on the path of development, and people here are living in a peaceful atmosphere.”
Yogi Adityanath made it clear that Article 370 is “now history” and has been “buried deep down” by PM Modi. He challenged the National Conference (NC) and Congress, accusing them of misleading the public by promising to restore Article 370. “No power on earth can bring it back till the BJP is here,” he asserted.
The BJP leader also criticized NC and Congress for their alleged support and nurturing of terrorism in J&K, claiming they have harmed the careers of thousands of talented youth. “The nursery of terrorism has been shut in J&K after the abrogation of Article 370,” he stated, asserting that these parties had turned J&K into a “warehouse of terrorism.”
In his remarks, Yogi Adityanath condemned NC, Congress, and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for exploiting the youth of J&K for their political gains. He referenced Maharaja Hari Singh’s contributions, saying, “J&K is an integral part of India due to Maharaja Hari Singh, but NC, Congress, and PDP are maligning his image.” He accused these parties of fostering communal divisions in the region, stating, “While Maharaja Hari Singh worked for communal harmony, NC, Congress, and PDP are bent on dividing people along communal lines.”
“This election in J&K is about teaching a lesson to those who have looted J&K’s resources and deceived the people for their own political interests,” Yogi Adityanath concluded. He emphasized the peace currently experienced in Kashmir, highlighting the record number of tourists and Amarnath yatris visiting the region without fear.
