To create public awareness and understanding of the electronic voting process ahead of Lok Sabha elections, Commissioner Secretary, Cooperatives, ARI & Trainings Departments, Yasha Mudgal, today flagged off an EVM Demonstration Van here from DC Office Complex, Ramban.
Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-haq Chaudhary, ADDC, Rajinder Sharam, ADC Harbans Sharma, ACR, Giasul Haq, SDM Banihal, Zaheer Abbas Bhat, Dy. DEO Lal Chand and other officers were present on the occasion.
The EVM Demo Van has been mobilized in the district on the directions of the Election Commissioner of India.
Master Trainers EVM Tarlok Singh and Jagan Nath, besides other concerned officials were also present on the occasion.
