Jammu, Feb 13: Ahead of the upcoming budget session at Jammu, the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, will chair meeting with the MLAs, DDC Chairmen and DDC members of Jammu District on February 16 to get feedback from the MLAs regarding development requirements and problems being faced by the Jammu District.
“The meeting has been called by the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, on 16th of February at Jammu at 2 PM,” BJP MLA from Jammu East, Yudhvir Sethi informed Rising Kashmir.
The move to hold meeting with the Jammu District MLAs, DDC members and DDC Chairmen by the Chief Minister is also aimed at discussing the upcoming budget and its smooth conduct,” sources said.
The BJP, in Jammu District having eleven (11) Assembly seats in J&K Assembly after delimitation, won 10 seats in the 2024 Assembly elections, while one seat was won by independent Satish Sharma, who is now a minister in the NC government.
The Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, wants to take all the BJP MLAs, DDC Chairmen and DDC members into confidence before the budget session beginning on March 03 and take note of the problems and development needs of various constituencies of Jammu District.
